And on the other side of the desk … Here in Arizona, that wacky Legislature is at it again:
“Senate Bill 1467, sponsored by Sen. Lori Klein, R-Anthem, would require teachers in K-12 public schools, public universities and community colleges to comply with the Federal Communications Commission standards of obscenity, indecency and profanity in their classrooms.”

My first thought? “Crap … something else for teachers to complain about.”
Depends on what’s considered “obscene”, since one man’s “harmless” is another’s “thatissooffensivehowcouldyoueversaythat!?”
Also, 9-12 and post-secondary? Really ? Half the required reading for my high school classes contained more profanity/obscenity than any teacher ever said. As for college, when I’m required to read a book with a detailed description of one guy jacking another guy off, then profanity just seems tame.
