I’m partway through a Computer Science degree, and I managed to get an implementation of Conway’s Game of Life to pass two different automated tests while initialising everything rotated by 90 degrees.
Computer Science: It works when it should break and it breaks when it should work.

I had the same problem in my first semester when I tried to make a clock. The last panel should read “I don’t know what’s happening and I don’t know why” – that would be more accurate
To be fair, that’s how most of life works, it just happens more with computers because you’re getting closer to the fundamentals of the universe.

Girlfriend? What girlfriend? Apparently the creator of the poster doesn’t know much about people inf computer science.
Either that or they know about the men in computer science who have a real job and a life that includes a woman. The ones who don’t spend all day and night sitting in front of a computer in mom’s basement.
That is why I’m a living paradox.

Lots of us are. CS majors get married before graduating more then any other major.
My fiancé is doing computer science at university at the moment. Most of the people on his course are in a relationship

In some ways true. Computer Science is more about logic and algorithmics than computers. However, there is a lot more to do with computers as well as this than this quote suggests…
Don’t worry as a CS student my ex left me for a more exciting guy after she didnt need tech support haha. I am forever alone but my cats keep me going in my lab.
